Technical Calculations & Sciences • A multimedia rich learning tool that combines visual and audio elements to deliver information in an easily understood manner. The CD teaches students in technical programs, such as apprentices, to understand and solve applied math involving whole numbers, fractions, percentage, decimals, ratio and proportion, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.

Technical Calculations and Science • Developed in conjunction with Province of Ontario and Confederation College. • Designed to support classroom studies or as a stand-alone learning tool. • “Technical Calculations and Science” accommodates a variety of learning styles and speeds.
Observed Outcomes • Positive student feedback. • Students work at home and open access. • Students working ahead of test deadlines to finish early. • A high student desire for mastery learning. • Early identification of students with learning difficulties. • Greater individual time for at risk students.
New CD in development • Developer Shawn Douglas Confederation College • Web based. • Less or no Animation. • Authoring Rights. • Less of a foot print. • Could be released this fall. • Free!
