  1. Status of data retrieval (SSS and S4 tested in SM18). • Data retrieval : goals, agenda. • Procedure of data treatment and validation • Status of the data treatment (20/02/07).

  2. Number of quadrupoles to be treated. • MQ: 28 MQ (transfer function, multipoles). • MQM : 4 MQM (transfer function, multipoles) • The other MQM were measured in Block 4 and treated by W.Venturini. • MQY : 12 MQY (transfer function, multipoles) • MQY measured in Block 4 will be treated by W.Venturini. • MQTL (Q6): 1 measured completely in SM18. 45 magnets to be treated in total.

  3. What we will get after the retrieval. • 4 reference tables corrected and entered in the SMA web site. • Transfer function: TF for currents between injection and nominal in ramp up and ramp down (systematic correction with SSW measurements) • Integrated harmonics: Integrated strength and multipoles between injection and nominal in ramp up and ramp down. • Integrated components: Geometric, saturation, magnetization, hysteresis, decay (when it is measured). • Variation of the b2 and multipoles with time during the reference machine cycle (format table integral_harmonic) • Agenda • For MQ in arc SSS : ready end of February. • For MQY and MQM : ready end of March.

  4. Cleaning procedure. • Re-analysis of the raw data coming from machine cycle and load-line. • Transfer function • Check/correct the offset based on SSW measurements • Correct jumps in transfer function along the loadline in particular around 2000-3000 A • Add the ramp down YF=f(I). • Angles • Introduction of the Mag_fid angle measured with the SSW (table provided by Marco Buzio) • Harmonics • Add the multipoles as a function of the current (ramp up and down) • Multipoles components • Check of the components • Ramp rate effect added when measured • Decay file prepared (variation of the b2 and multipoles with the current for the reference cycle). • Final checks • Creation of a log file including offsets, angles, comments.

  5. Transfer function correction :extreme case. Raw data Strength correction based on SSW cross-check + jump at low current corrected. Correction confirmed by another measurement with re-calibrated amplifiers Criteria : Correction performed when the jump is higher than 1 unit.

  6. Status of the MQ, MQM, MQY treatment. • MQ: 16 treated/ 28 the 20/02/07. • Second run of checking is needed at the end. • No MQM and MQY for the moment.
