Context • Intel involved in interactive TV technologies: ATVEF, Intercast, involvement with standards, etc. • e.g. collaboration with PBS: The Greeks, F.L.W. • Taking advantage of the data capability of the DTV transport multiplex. • Package Delivery System – an end-to-end system for packaged content delivery over digital broadcast networks. • From content creation, scheduling, and broadcasting to reception, and filtering based on a user profile. • Enables applications such as digital interactive magazines, software distribution, MP3 music distribution, personalized news, weather, sports, etc
