What is a Territory??? • The people who live on the islands are U.S. citizens, but cannot vote in U.S. Presidential elections, but can vote in Presidential primaries. • The residents have been given the choice of independence or whether or not they want to become a state

Ernesto (Che) Guevara and Fidel Castro • 1956 Castro and Guevara plot to overthrow Batista • 1959 Fidel Castro takes over and makes alliance with Communist Russia = hard feelings between the U.S.
Murder of Che • Killed at 39 years old in 1967 • “Shoot, coward, you're only going to kill a man"
