  2. Tucker Ellis & West LLP/ John Hay Early College We partner with the John Hay H.S. Early College Program, providing 3Rs teachers, mock trial coaches, and summer internships.

  3. 3Rs at JHEC We provide 3Rs teachers—8 in ’07-’08 and 31 this school year.

  4. Mock Trial Coaches We provided 18 coaches for the JHEC Mock Trial Team, which finished #1 in the Cleveland Mock Trial Championship.

  5. HS Internship We provided two paid summer internships for JHEC students.

  6. Robert Tucker Scholarship We created and fund the Robert Tucker Scholarship at Cleveland-Marshall College of Law for a graduate of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.

  7. We Set the Gold Standard “Tucker Ellis & West LLP set the ‘gold standard’ for pipeline initiative programs.” Louise Dempsey (CMSD School Bd. Member, C-M Assistant Dean, and CMBA 3Rs Committee Member), referencing the JHEC partnership and Tucker Scholarship.

  8. Spreading the Word Articles about this “pipeline initiative” work have appeared in the CMBA’s Journal, the FBA Chapter’s Inter Alia, and DRI’s The Voice. It has also been the subject of presentations to the LA County Bar Association Diversity Summit and the CMBA Managing Partner Diversity Conference.

  9. Not “The End,” Only the Beginning
