  2. Students and Staff • Small Urban (one of 24 designated urban districts in MA) – just north of and adjacent to Boston on the Atlantic • 6,921 students • 11 Schools • 6 elementary, 3 middle, 1 traditional high school, 1 alternative high school • Pre-K enrollment 182, K enrollment 608

  3. Student Demographics • 45% Hispanic, 41% White, 14% other • 51% FLNE, additional 11% LEP • 76% Low Income • 16% SPED • 81% “High Needs” – SPED, ELL and/or Low Income • 16.5% Churnrate – transfers in and out during the school year
