Critical Situation/Problem • The number of children that are food scared have increased. • It is a risk to the large minority group of low-income Latino children that it is affecting. • Health Problems • Illness and Death
Rhetorical Timing • Economy Recession • Lack of Work • Less Money • Hard to provide • Make more of a little • Money (stretch the money), • Service- Teach people how to do so.
“They Say” • In the United States, about 13 million children live in homes were they have limited access to food. • In 2009, 14 million children received emergency food assistance from Feeding America. • In 2010, 16.4 million or approximately 22 percent of children in the U.S. lived in poverty.
