  2. Sliver Uses • Silver is used most often as jewelry. Though it is also used in chemistry, photography, silver wear, and electronic devices.

  3. Mineral Uses • Minerals include cement, aluminum, coal, diamond, gold, lead, and lithium. • Coal is used to make energy

  4. Effect Earth’s Recourses Organism Recourses Minerals and Silver- destroys potential environments Doesn't effect otherwise • Minerals- Coal pollutes air, have to dig deep in earth at times. • Silver- have to dig deep in earth at times

  5. Dangers • If prolonged contact occurs, silver and mineral poisoning is possible. Most likely to happen in mining tunnels, or simple over exposure to substance.

  6. Incident • In the Ashoi copper mine, silver leaked out and contaminated a river in Japan. The people, fish, and crops were poisoned, the fish and crops dying • The mine was permanently shut down and it took a long time to clean the river
