  1. Laura Motes Likes To Commune with Nature Living in a rural area of Northeast Georgia gives Laura Motes the opportunity to appreciate the bounty of nature that surrounds her home. She loves placing bird seed and suet in various places around her yard, so she can watch the local bird and wildlife eat during the day and night. Maintaining a healthy way of life is something that Laura Motes has spent years learning how to do. She has created a regimen for herself that involves plenty of physical fitness and a proper diet.

  2. Laura Motes Is An Animal Shelter And Rescue Advocate Over the last two decades, Laura Motes has dedicated her spare time to supporting the local animal shelters and rescue group in her county. She believes strongly in the need for these establishments and has adopted many of her own canine family members from the local shelters. Laura will donate her time and her money to this worthwhile cause.

  3. Paddling Down The Broad River With Laura Motes Keeping active and physically fit in her free time is easy for Laura Motes, especially with such convenient access to the Broad River. She likes to kayak, canoe, bird watch, and fish on this 60-mile tributary of the Savannah River. The Broad River has a long history of nature exploration and recreation, dating as far back as the famous Meriwether Lewis. Before starting her new adventure as a nursing student, former police officer Laura Motes spent time working for Managed Medical Transport.

  4. Laura Motes Is Prepared For a Natural Disaster Though not incredibly common in Watkinsville, Georgia, Laura Motes still finds value in being prepared for a natural disaster. Her decades of law enforcement work have taught her that it is far better to be prepared and not need your supplies, than to have to suffer from a lack of preparation.
