Social Due Diligence • Due Diligence Report • Short note on project – background, current status • Social (IR/IP) Impacts & risks identified • Are effective measures in place to deal with them? • Client understand safeguards • Consultations done adequately • Income restoration and improvement • Capacity of the developer to complete

  5. Indigenous Peoples’ Concerns • Clear statement in the due diligence report on IP • Specific actions found in documents • Would they tally with field findings? • Sufficient consultations? • Consent required? • Recommendations
