Flow-down of Requirements Through Management Systems, to Subject Areas - Sample Financial Assistance Management System 10 CFR 600 Assigned Parse Requirements Management Records Management Subject Area: Merit Review and Selection Subject Area: Record Management Subject Area: Internal Controlled Documents This subject area does not need to re-write records management – it only needs to refer appropriately to the records management subject areas Because 10 CFR 600 has been ‘parsed,’ these subject areas have been developed with requirements from Records Management Directives, as well as the specific requirements in 10 CFR600, in mind.
Requirements The Requirement Matrix you have today will capture your view of ownership and parsed ownership. Subject Areas will be identified. As other Management Systems go through the EMERS process, other MSOs may bring alternate ownership scenarios to you. Gives us the opportunity to address gaps
How will new requirements be integrated? • Subject Area teams will define processes • The RDR process (Requirements Decision Record process) will be launched to maintain the requirements
