Eco-Reps Introducing a new position to be filled by one member in every recognized organization at Clemson University • PURPOSE: Ensure Clemson University organizations and their members are becoming more sustainable in and out of their organization(s). • Each EcoRep will attend 2 meetings per semester with the Sustainability Committee where they will update the Committee and report on their actions as Eco-Reps as well as give any feedback, concerns, and/or ideas. • RESPONSIBILITIES: • Reduce the amount of paper used when advertising events, reduce the amount of waste used when hosting events, and reduce energy use by making sure lights are turned off at the end of meetings • Be responsible for setting up recycling bins at events and to ensure that members recycle • Reuse items used at events such as: brochures, tablecloths, packaging, etc.
