  2. The Edgian was created out of paper made of a special clay (it is better than paper) called Edclopa (ed-clO-puh). The Edgers used this paper because clay was the third most common natural resource on the whole island. It is a very valuable currency because Edgers are one of the only people on the planet that know how to make the durable clay paper it is made of. The clay used was discovered on the crooked cliff of Mount Irtufa’ah. It is used, like normal currency, to buy things and to pay the taxes. The next pages will be the front and back of the currency used.
