  2. Precautions • Follow all lab safety rules • Wear goggles and aprons • Follow all lab instructions • Some chemicals are corrosive . Report accidents to instructor and wash skin with cold water . • Do not touch any chemicals with your bare hands • Do not taste any chemicals

Precautions 2 • Rinse spoons and dry them before using them to test a new chemical • Wipe the prongs of the conductivity tester with a damp towel and dry before testing a new chemical • do not dip the prongs of the conductivity tester completely in water • Use separate stirrers for each chemical • Clean up according to teacher instruction • wash hands
