This project aims to develop a solution to enhance or replace the FasTrak tool, increasing transparency for issue submissions, improving data access, reporting functionality, search functionality, monitoring and response capabilities, and overall usability.

PR-50007 Enhancements to FasTrak Project Objectives / Scope / Dependencies Objectives: • Develop a solution to either enhance or replace the FasTrak tool Scope/Why is this important?: • Increase the transparency for issues that are submitted via FasTrak • Allow users to have improved access to the data • Improve the reporting functionality • Improve search functionality associated • Improve monitoring and response capabilities • Improve the usability Dependencies: • SOA Integration - dependent on SOA MID project for integration framework components needed by API (low risk to project) As of January 5, 2006 Page 1

PR-50007 Enhancements to FasTrak Summary of Project Status • Phase: • Initiation – Completed in Feb 2005 • Planning – Completed in Nov 2005 • Execution/Implementation – Started November 14, 2005 • Update: • Conducted meeting with MPs on December 9th to review Market Design Document • Posted original business requirements document and the document outlining the changes to the business requirements to ERCOT.com at http://www.ercot.com/services/comm/projects/current/50007/index.html under the Key Documents section • On schedule to deliver the Detailed Design Document to MPs on January 31st • The project is on schedule to meet milestone dates As of January 5, 2006 Page 2
