The State Accountability Profiles is a web-based tool that provides in-depth information on state accountability systems and reporting. It includes data on state assessments, performance levels, AYP goals, data disaggregation, validity and reliability, participation, accountability outcomes, and data systems.

State Reporting of AYP • Everyone wants these numbers! • AYP results for 2002-03 were reported from mid-summer 2003 through winter 2004 • AYP results were widely varied across states, ranging from less than 10% to more than 85% of schools not making AYP • But states have been very careful to report in context
