Drug Action Week A national week of activities held to raise awareness about alcohol, tobacco and other drug issues in Australia and is an initiative of the Alcohol and Other Drugs Council of Australia (ADCA) – the national peak. Highlights the achievements of the committed individuals within the ATOD sector collaborating to reduce alcohol, tobacco and other drug-related harm – including workers, consumers and carers. +40 plus events across the ACT
About the conference * Annual event, part of Drug Action Week * Lead by the Drug Action Week Planning Group, supported by the ACT ATOD CEOs & Workers Groups * Un-funded, cost-recovery, organised in-house * Chance to get together and learn together * Forge and share ideas * Participatory – lots of discussions * Support access to the evidence & support evidence- informed policy and practice * Opportunity some sector members may not often get
