  2. Edmodo • Join my Class • 3rd period code: wskvdu • 4th period code: 3w5vi3 • Be Patient! • All you have to do today in class is join the class and see directions

  3. Groups • Pick a group of 4 and decide on a Newspaper Name • Assign a different topic for each person in group. • Women’s Suffrage • Labor Unions • Political Machines • Monopolies • Child Labor

  4. Overview • Later, you will be given directions/deadlines for the Article you are going to write and how your group is going to put it together • BUT DON’T WORRY ABOUT THAT YET!!!!! • Today, the only goal is to make groups and understand directions for doing your Research that is due Friday.

  5. Research • I have posted a DBQ on Edmodo for your Topic. Open the Document to see what it looks like. • Between now and Friday, you are to... • Read the sources I have given you in the DBQ (including links to online sources at end) • Annotate/take notes however you choose • Then, go to Edmodo and review the directions about what you are to put on Edmodo before class on Friday

  6. TODAY • Write Newspaper Name on Index Card, list your names and tell me which Topic you are doing • Tape to board, NO repeat Newspaper names! • Join Edmodo group • Review directions • Skim DBQ • HOLD ALL QUESTIONS ABOUT ARTICLE DIRECTIONS…
