Social media • Around 70%* of adults have at least one social media profile. • Around 90%* of those aged 16–24 have at least one profile. • Facebook and Twitter continue to be the most popular sites. • The increasing popularity of social media suggests there are many positive aspects of joining an online community. • Many of those positive aspects may be identified by looking at what people use social media for.
