  5. How we Plan • Determine and define the mission • Establish Clear objectives • Follow the fundamental Master Planning Steps: 1. Structure the Force: Define the organization, manning and equipping. • 2. Position the Force: Determine where the force will be located. • 3. Facilitate the Force: Provide the real property facilities required by the force. • 4. Serve the Force: Deliver the standard Army services. • Support the management structure that deploys the resources

Accomplishments and Challenges • Army Installation Design Standards • New AR210-20 • Project Priority System for SRM and MCA: • - Drew the Mission/BASOPS line • - Established Process for submission of priorities • - Established Objective Scoring Factors and Weights • - Developed efficient Web based system • Certified data: • - Army Stationing and Installation Plan (ASIP) • - Real Property Planning and Analysis System (RPLANS) • - Real Property Inventory (RPI) • Centrally Managed Facility Reduction Program • Standard Statements of Work: • - Installation Design Guides • - Requirements Analysis Contracts • - Charrettes • Common Levels of Support “It’s at the printers” Greg Brewer FY04 Certified Excess 45MSF FY04 Certified Deficit 143MSF Installation Design Guides, How many are finished?
