Objectives i. Specify how well Google Earth is known and used by the targeted students ii. Identify reasons for using Google Earth by the students iii. Set up a plan for a professional development program for the subject teachers on using Google Earth iv. Identify other popular software used for the same target Survey Conclusions i) Google Earth is well known but not used as an interactive technology tool in the classrooms ii) Many students are using Google Earth to locate their houses, which means that the software is an attractive one but students are not aware of its utilities. iii) Subject teachers should enhance the use of Google Earth as a powerful tool to visualize their projects. iv) Professional staff development needs be conducted to increase the teachers’ awareness to the use of Google Earth. v) Phone apps are easier to use by the students. 18
