  11. Community Service • For the new members. Relay for Life counts as five hours of community service. • For everyone • Due date for hours is set at December 15th. No later. • All hours will count starting July 1, 2010.

  12. Community Service     • On Saturday November 20 from 9 am to 1 pm, Habitat for Humanity are sponsoring an Electronic Recycling day at their KCK ReStore. They are looking for ten volunteers to help accept the donations. Sign up at the end of the meeting or at room 27 until the list is full. • On Thursday November 11, we will be going to help build a house with Habitat for Humanity from 8 am to 4 pm (no school). There are only three more spots available so sign up quick! People who have already signed up stay after the meeting to discuss. 

  13. Community Service  Cont. • Give What You Got Electronics Drive • Due to another organization running a coat drive, we have decided to run an electronics drive instead. The plan is to do collections form the 22nd to 26th. We will need volunteers for publicizing and to help collect donations. Sign up after the meeting or at room 27 if interested.

  14. Members of the Month Seaera took the initiative to start a student Tutoring Program. She's had meetings with Doctor McLean, Flurry and Adams, and also Mr. Rodgers. She is planning one more meeting before the program will be up and running. Seaera Sander

  15. Haley Ohmes  Together Danielle and Haley decided to start the West Way Club. They met with Mrs. Warren and got Mr. Halverson to be the sponsor. The club will plan and organize community service opportunities for students.  Members of the Month Cont. Danielle Pintar Excellent job Seaera, Danielle, and Haley!
