ACQUIRE FINANCIAL KNOWEDGE/LITERACY Every problem is a knowledge problem! 3 Kinds of Education: General: Learning to read, write, count. Specialized: Knowledge in a specific field to better serve humanity. Financial: How to get money to serve you as you serve humanity.
Prov 8:10-11 10 Receive my instruction, and not silver, And knowledge rather than choice gold; 11 For wisdom is better than rubies, And all the things one may desire cannot be compared with her.
Prov 4:7 7 Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Recommended Reading: The Book of Proverbs/ The Richest Man in Babylon/Rich Dad, Poor Dad/ Rich Dad’s Conspiracy of the Rich (Rich Dad Books)/ Secrets of the Millionaire Mind/ Trump etc
FIND YOUR LIFE’S PURPOSE/VISION You are not an accident! You were born for a specific purpose that only you can fulfill on the earth. Two kinds of life: Zoe & Bios. Your Vision attracts Provision. Provision is from 2 words: PRO-VISION; which means for the vision. Your vision determines your resources.
Prov 29:18 18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. KJV Recommended Action: Read John 10:10-11 and get into relationship with Jesus; get into LIFE. Read the Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren
GET TO WORK, DO SOMETHING. The Bible commands us to work. Even God works; work is godly! Money is a reward for solving problems. If you’re broke, it means you’re not solving any problems. 2 ways of working: Tending (before the fall) and toiling (after the fall). We’re restored to tend.
Prov 10:4 4 He who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes rich. Prov 12:24 24 The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor.
Eph 4:28 28 Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Recommended Thought: Do not look at your job as your source, otherwise you’ll toil into slavery. God is your paymaster. Just solve problems.
BECOME A DILIGENT GIVER/TITHER. All that we have is the Lord’s and all that He has is ours! When you give, you are acknowledging your partnership with the Senior Partner; aligning with His character and plan; not out of fear, but knowledge. Generosity is Repentance from Poverty.
Prov 3:9-10 9 Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase; 10 So your barns will be filled with plenty, And your vats will overflow with new wine. Recommended Action: Start tithing TODAY.
PLAN YOUR EXPENDITURE. Failure to plan is a plan to fail! Dividing your expenses into percentages saves you from unwise decisions. It becomes policy! For Example: 10% - Tithe; 10% - Giving to other causes; 20% - Save for Investments; 50% Necessary Expenses; 10% Fun Expenses.
Recommended Action: Plan to have your expenses predetermined as opposed to responding to circumstances. Operate in a way that helps you solve bigger problems in future. Have a separate account for saving for investments.
STUDY AND MAKE WISE INVESTMENTS Plan to quit your job the day you start working! You’ll work because you want to, not because you have to, when: Passive Income > Monthly Expenses Global Economic Movers: Stocks, Currencies, Energy, Metals, Real Estate, Technology, Small Businesses…
Eccl 11:1-2 Cast your bread upon the waters, For you will find it after many days. 2 Give a serving to seven, and also to eight, For you do not know what evil will be on the earth. Recommended Thought: DO NOT invest in something you do not understand. Seek knowledge first.
