Letter to Parents • Reading: Retelling The Story • Writing: Treasure in my Hand • Math: Story Problems • Science: Soil • Social Studies: Our Community Dear Parents, Wow! We are already in the last week of October – this year is flying by! This week the homework looks a little different so be sure you take the time to look over that with your child. This week is Red Ribbon Week! Each day the students will be encouraged to dress up to support various things we will be teaching. Here are the different days: Monday: 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, or 80’s attire Tuesday: Camouflage Day Wednesday: Jersey Day Thursday: Book Character Dress Up or Red Day Friday: Beck Bulldog clothes or colors Thank you to all the parents who have taken time out of their schedules to volunteer! It is great to see so many parents in the building. We appreciate all your help very much! -The First Grade Teachers Looking Ahead Fairy Tale Ball will be here before we know it. Since Halloween is right around the corner now would be a great time to find a fairy tale costume for you child!
