Catholic Mutual Group is: • A self-insurance fund of the Catholic Church in North America. • The leading provider of property and general liability coverage and risk management services for over 105 Catholic Archdioceses and Dioceses and 200 religious orders and other Catholic institutions. • A 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt organization.

Catholic Mutual Group • History • Established in Nebraska in1889 by a group of Midwest Catholic bishops asThe Catholic Relief Society of America. • The protective organization was founded to help repair/build damaged church properties. • Incorporated in 1896 as a non-profit religious corporation. • Currently operates in 49 states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Providence of Ontario, Canada.
