  4. We only know how to use them in their infinitive form…”to dance, etc.” • Sometimes you don’t want to say to______, as in “I like to dance., Do you like to dance?, etc.” • Sometimes we want to say things like “I dance everyday after school.” • How do we do that?

  5. We CONJUGATE the verbs! We change the infinitive into other forms that match different subjects. We conjugate verbs in English all the time…we just don’t have to think about it! Let’s look at the verb to study in English before we look at a Spanish conjugation…

  7. To conjugate a verb in Spanish, you must follow certain steps. 1. Take off the infinitive ending estudi ar stem 2. Add endings to the stem of the verb that match each subject pronoun.
