Now you can maintain links to this information all within CMS Professional V2009 without duplicating any files or information. AR Customers - file with contact names, faxes, etc. IN Stock - file with spec sheets, warranty info, etc. AP Vendors - file with contact names, vendor catalogs, map/directions, etc. PR Employee - file with employment application, emergency info, etc. BR Bank Account - file with contacts, etc. GL Master Account - info on what should/should not be charged to this account JC Job Master - file with contact names, contract numbers, etc.

M:\cmswin\MAX) as follows: Customers (with subdirectories for each customer) Stock Items (with subdirectories for each stock ID) Vendors (with subdirectories for each Vendor) Job Numbers (with subdirectories for each Job number) Employees (with subdirectories for each employee although this might have confidentiality problems) This will then keep Doc’s, Excel & other files in a central place accessible by all staff members with rights to those directories

To activate this feature, you need to go to Order Entry> Options> Codes> Order Guide> Run Utility. To keep the file updated, simply run the file daily, weekly, monthly, or as needed. To optimize this feature, staff members should be trained to manually add items a customer inquires about, and any item the customer might be interested in.

  18. cms2DM DocumentMgt ™ Troubleshooting This product should not require any troubleshooting. It is beautiful in simplicity. Re-indexing is almost always a first step. If a record locking error occurs, use “UTICMS” to delete any blank records. If problems still exist, use “dbFix” and “FileFix”, to rebuild the file. If the problem still remains, it might be desirable to use “UTICMS” to delete the file and re-create it.
