  2. National strategic commitments • To enhance connections with its Diaspora • Nurture Croatian national identity in the era of globalisation

  3. On the elementary education level • 19 different countries on Croatian language and culture programmes • In year 2008 the Croatian government supported 88 teachers working in benefit of some 6860 pupils

  4. On higher education level • 34 lector centres worldwide integrated into national university programmes

  5. Objectives • To provide higher quality of educational materials by including a choice of multimedia learning objects. • To enhance availability of educational materials • To improve educational economics of Croatian language and culture worldwide.

  6. Premise • Educational materials will be developed on the basis of the Croatian language and culture curriculum for Diaspora document • On higher education level a common shell will be realized

  7. Definition of educational model • On-line courses as part of the education system • LMS working environment definition • Standardization • IEEE (LOM) 1484.12.1-2002 • NIMAS

  8. Interactive educational materials in rich multimedia and in the form of hypertext makes them more appealing to younger generations who are accustomed to video and computer technologies.

  9. A tentative tool • Adaptive Hypermedia Courseware (AhYCo) • Developed & used at • University of Zagreb • University of Rijeka • Evaluation of students and lecturers • To support the Bologna Process • Support for interactive learning • Or some other choice after public tendering

  11. To organise procedures for animating and recruiting pupils through school, church or diplomatic channels, or via on-line applications • To provide tools for initial checking pupils knowledge in informatics and language.

  12. To organize community and parents support • To form worldwide learning groups.

  13. Objectives • To provide higher quality of educational materials by including a choice of multimedia learning objects. • To enhance availability of educational materials • To improve educational economics of Croatian language and culture worldwide.
