WHO CAN APPLY • J-1 Internship (6 to 12 months) • Applicant must be currently enrolled in a post secondary degree or certificate granting institution or have graduated less than 12 months ago from the program start date. • Subject of study must be directly related to hotel/restaurant management, culinary arts, tourism or leisure management. • J-1 Career Training (6 to 12 months) • Applicant must have a degree or a certificate from a post-secondary academic institution, plus one year of recent experience in a related field gained outside of the US. • If the candidate does not meet the educational requirement they may qualify based on 5 years of verifiable related experience gained outside of the US.

  9. SOME JOB OFFERS – NATION WIDE Culinary: Average rate of pay $9.00 - $10.00 per hour. Front Office: Average rate of pay $9.00 - $10.00 per hour Housekeeping Supervisor - average rate of pay $8.50 - $9.50 per hour Mimimum 32 hours per week.

Initial interview with AHA representative 3. If passed, when selected by a resort, work conditions are known and a second interview with the resort recruiter is confirmed. 4. VARIOUS INTERHSHIPS IN NEW YORK Business Management (25) Location: Manhattan, New York The employer is a leading U.S. educational institution that offers this business management trainee/internship opportunity and is listed in top 10 educational institutions in the State of New York. Compensation: $16.00 per hour with a minimum guarantee of 40 hours per week. In addition, the trainee/intern candidate will receive a free monthly meal coupon to eat for free at the cafeteria plus a free monthly Subway/Bus Metro Card Housing: The trainee/intern will be offered a campus type housing with other international trainees/interns for $275 per month; only two residents per campus apartment. The apartment is equipped with free WIFI internet access, TV and nationwide phone system. Eligibility requirement: The candidate must possess good working level of English to be able to communicate on his/her duty. The candidate must be independent, hard-working with an educational background in Business Administration and/or Management, International Relations, Marketing. Previous experience in J-1 visa program (work/travel, Au-pair, trainee) is a plus.

  13. HOW TO APPLY 1. Complete and submit application with supporting documents. Pay app. fee (50 euro) and initial fee ( $ 250) 2. A minimum of 12-24 weeks to distribute the application and get a job offer. 3. A phone/video interview with the company representative. 4. If accepted visa documents are collected and visa interview is scheduled and payment of $ 1,200 (12 months) or $ 1,600 (18 months) is paid.
