Why Solar? • I choose solar because we live in Arizona were there is always sun shine. When there’s sun shine that means it is charging the power system at the cost of installation of the solar panels. There’s times the school could make money by selling unused energy to the power companies.
Changes Being Made. • To be able to produce enough energy to power the school, they will need to get solar panels on just about every building. The solar panels should be placed on top of the building because there’s nothing on the roofs and it would allow them to use unused space. If there was a field made for solar panels the school would have to buy more land which is not necessary.
Pro’s and Con’s • Some Pro’s of using Solar energy is that you can make money off of the power company by selling unused energy to them. Not putting anything in the air. Some con’s are, if it’s a cloudy day the solar panels won’t be charging.
