Summary Session 5 E.Chiaveri (EN-STI-EET) n_TOF Collaboration Meeting Sevilla 15/17 December
A possible scenario for 2011/2012 Some thoughts on the measurement plan for 2011(2012): Due to obligations within the ANDES program t e measurement with 238U(n,g) with TAC and C6D6 should be scheduled in 2011. The exceptional availability of the 63Ni sample and the absence of previous measurements could lead to its measurement in 2011, in despite of other 5XFe/ 6XNi measurements. The extraordinary length of the 240,242Pu(n,f) measurement and the possibility of combining part of it with a PPAC measurement in parallel during 2012, could lead to split of the measurement between 2011 and 2012. In the view of the short length and the very promising results of the previous tests, a test measurement with the pCVD for 10B(n,a) could be scheduled in 2011 so that a physics measurement can be planned for 2012. The availability of the 235U (in the NEA-HPRL) and the success of the fission tagging test material could lead to the measurement of the 235U(n, g) up to 30 keV with TAC+MGAS. n_TOF Collaboration Meeting Sevilla 15/17 December 2010
A possible scenario for 2011/2012 Taking into account the previous considerations: Approved by INTC New *To be studied in more detail + Possibility of measuring in parallel with 240,242Pu(n,f) Beyond 2012 it would still remain: capture on 5xFe, 6x,6xNi, 243Am, plus new proposals n_TOF Collaboration Meeting Sevilla 15/17 December 2010
A possible scenario for 2011/2012 Taking into account the previous considerations: Approved by INTC New *To be studied in more detail + Possibility of measuring in parallel with 240,242Pu(n,f) # no reduction on the background measurements, and 40% reduction in the proton allocation to 238U Beyond 2012 it would still remain: capture on 5xFe, 6x,6xNi, 243Am, plus new proposals
