Logging In to • Go to the CourseEval website to log in: http://meded-eval.ucsd.edu • Often we will send you the login button and your unique login information (username and password) with your reminder emails 1 • You can always access the CoursEval login from the OEDE website on the User’s Guides page. • 1 • Email us if you have any difficulties logging in: • meded-oede@ucsd.edu • Or call us… • Cynthia Raasch 858.534.2620 • Mark Olesen 858.534.0352 • Felipe (Eddie) Zatarain 858.534.41107
Once you have entered the CoursEval site: • Enter your user name and password • Then click on LOG IN • Tips: • Leading or trailing spaces will invalidate your username and/or password. • Click on Log InButton. Using the Enter key will not work. • If you have forgotten your password, click on the Forget Your PasswordLink.
Once logged in, you are taken directly to the Survey List screen.
If you were not taken directly to the Survey List screen, go to the blue menu bar on the top right of the screen. • Place your mouse over Surveys and click Available Surveys.
On the right side, in the Survey List, Click on the button below Open Survey to access that evaluation.
When you click on the Open Survey button, a pop up window will appear. • At right you will find an example of the pop up window for one of the evaluations that uses a pick list.
Select the student(s) by clicking on the radio button next to the student’s photo/name (Pick only the students you worked with.)
To continue to the evaluation, please click Save and Continue to Next Page x x
If you chose more than one student to assess, you can select them individually or as a group.. • Click on the drop down list for Choose Individual to Assessand click on the student to assess (or Show All if you want to scroll through them all).
You will complete the evaluation by clicking on the radio buttons and entering comments where appropriate.
When you have completed the evaluation, you are given two options; • Save Individual Assessment and Get Next Evaluation (if you want to evaluate another student right away) • or • Save Progress and Return to Survey (if you want to exit this survey)
If you have multiple students you wish to evaluate at one time, please click on the SAVE INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENT AND GET NEXT EVALUATION button and then continue on to your next student
If you would like to close the evaluation before completing responses for all of your students, you may click on the SAVE PROGRESS AND RETURN TO SURVEY LIST button.
Once you have completed evaluations on all of your students in this survey, you may click on the SUBMIT SURVEY button.
CoursEval then verifies that you are prepared to submit your evaluation. If you are sure you have completed all your evaluations of students, click OK
Thank you for your participation! Your evaluation has now been submitted.
