AR in VSD • AR rarely begins before 2 years and after 10 years • Peak incidence noted between 5-9 years
Pathogenesis • Major features : a. lack of anatomic support for valve - deficiency of conal septum - defect in sinus of valsalva - defect in aortic valve commissures b. hemodynamic effects c.
