International & Local Recognition Goal:Increase membership in line with our existing schools’ needs and with the additional aim of achieving wider global recognition. Goal: Build a strong and coherent IH brand Goal: Build partnerships with globally recognised institutions that are known for excellence in their field and encourage inter-school partnerships.

Partnerships Update • Cambridge ESOL – IH schools direct customers for BULATS exams, no agent fees. • Pearson Reporting scheme • OUP placement tests • BSI UK committee for new ISO standard for provision of language learning services • Increased sponsorship for IH events
Financial & Organisational Strength Goal: Achieve financial growth and organisational strength for IHWO Ltd Goal (Short Term): Reduce member debt to less than 56.000 GBP by 31st Dec 2009 • Updated Affiliation Agreement • Fee Banding System – Opt In successfully launched January 2011
Quality Internal-Member “Delight” • Member Needs and Satisfaction • Building communication networks that facilitate communication between IHWO and... • school directors • academic staff • administrative staff
Member Satisfaction Goal:To achieve a minimum of 80% satisfaction rate (vs. 72% in April 2010) when assessing member delight through our yearly questionnaire. (Target of 70% return rate).
Survey Results • Results representing 91 schools (61% of all IH affiliates) • 37 different countries • Our target – 70% response rate • It’s not too late to tell us how you feel!
Useful Feedback • 57% - IH has a good or excellent effect on their school’s financial strength and stability • Email and Newsletters main source of communication with IHWO • Only 26% find IHWO Website Affiliates’ useful for communication
Quality - External Goal: To improve all internal and external stakeholders’ awareness and understanding of the IH Quality Standards • New name - Quality Inspections (QI) • Review format & content of Charters and the Inspection process • IH inspector working committee • Create online course on IH Quality Management system
Warning System for schools not meeting charters with a series of fines, culminating in disaffiliation. • New PowerPoint presentation about the IH Quality Standards for students, staff and agents
Resources - People, Services & Products • Goal: to sustain and expand the support framework that IHWO Ltd provides members with in the form of educational products, coordinators and services thus ensuring high quality delivery to end users. • Goal: To ensure that information about innovation and best practice in IH schools is disseminated within the network
