BOMA BESt • Integrates Go Green’s best practices with the Go Green Plus assessment • Four levels of achievement • Level 1 – Best Practices • Level 2 – Best Practices, and 70-79% • Level 3 – Best Practices, and 80-89% • Level 4 – Best Practices, and 90-100%
BOMA BESt • Self-directed and voluntary • Service to all commercial building owners • Incorporates industry best practices and performance measurement • User-friendly, web-based and affordable
Online Assessment • To achieve BOMA BESt Levels 2, 3 or 4, applicants must go through Go Green Plus assessment • Approximately 175 questions • Typically yes, no, n/a responses

Certification • Every building is verified by a third-party • Certification lasts 3 years. Buildings need to recertify after 3 years. • BOMA BESt Level 1 (best practices) available for all types of assets. • BOMA BESt Levels 2, 3, 4 currently for office assets.
Previously Certified Buildings • Buildings with valid Go Green or Go Green Plus certifications are grandfathered into BOMA BESt • Certificates will be re-issued in November
