Direct implication of professionals 8 « branch » work groups accompanied by experts Owner implication in the piloting and the results Highlighting some projected and spectacular actions, such as: Chain of building site information processing toward « as-built » drawings / exploitation Chain of catalogue product information processing, standadized SDC/IFC Optimizing the technical conception (ie. building performance) Regulation Conformity, code checking Building site cooperation « Bottom-up » functioning of the project Backed up by the methodology, the experience, then the program infrastructures of FFB and CAPEB Portal Constant and claimed presence / participation of very small, small and medium size companies Copenhagen, 2010 September 9 - BSI-meeting
Level off the « reluctant stances » : resistance to usage of an already industrialized technology ( majority of construction technical softwares is IFC standardized) Lower the « Entry fee » of technologies for small and medium size companies : specifically conceived actions for each chain link. Involve the whole chain of actors = better federate the sector.Make aware, interest and train them, for example : new interprofessional programs enabling team work, interoperability. Promote norms and standards, from and to the international, by means of coordination, specific organizations, example setting, experience sharing. Propose durable incentive mesures. Results Copenhagen, 2010 September 9 - BSI-meeting
Involving the whole chain of actors : What’s going on today ! Regional User Group (called “Club des usages”) spontaneously initiated by owners and operators (represents millions of square-meters buildings: SNI, city of Paris, city of Clermont-Ferrand, region Bourgogne, region Alsace, region PACA…). Club open to all stakeholders, designers, contractors and editors. First issue: specifications to be done in conjunction with IDM group according to IDM methods. Dedicated collaborative Web site (http://lra.toulouse.archi.fr/club-des-usages/) Forums to collect user feedback about BIM-IFC issues (one forum per software). On going new pilot projects. Development of manufacturer’s systems configurators (Saint-Gobain and CSTB). In coordination with the regional User Group: 3 years European GreenConServe program.
