Proposals for the future (2) 2. Under the Jean Monnet Action • Projects for new modules • Establishing an ACRU European Studies Group (ACRU-ESnet) to bring together all Jean Monnet structures on European Studies in the Carpathian Euroregion

Creating a package of 5 grants (ACRU Research Fellowship) • The grant will reach the amount of 1800 Euro/student/6 months – for doctoral studies focused on Euro-Carpathian issues, or joint doctoral theses in ACRU member universities: • 1100 Euro granted by ACRU • The host university will be exempt from the 700 euro annual fee if they provide accommodation and board to the student for the 6 months. P.S. Only studentscoming from universities that have paid the annual fee in the past two years are eligible.

Proposals for institutional changing of ACRU • Implementing e-voting as an alternative voting system during ACRU annual meetings • The decisions proposed to be sent by e-mail • Using ACRU website for exchange of information on activities, workshops, and projects • ACRU as an international NGO with it’s separate account and website • Introduce of the “changing initiative” by at least 1/3 of the members (coming from minimum 3 countries)
