It comes from an Arabic expression meaning, ”May Allah grant that…”It now means “I wish that” or “I hope that” “Ojalá que sí” means “I hope so.” “Ojalá que no”means “I hope not.” Ojalá que no tengamos tarea hoy. Ojalá que yo sepa las respuestas correctas. Ojalá que mi madre sea simpática cuando recibo mis notas malas.
