Let us Cast it”. • Area : 16105 Sq.Km • Population (2011 Census) : 27.41 Lakhs • Electors • Before Summary Revision :- 16.71 Lakhs • EP Ratio :- 609 : 1000 • After Summary Revision and continuous updation :- 19.59 Lakhs • EP Ratio :- 714 : 1000 • Projected Population (2014) :- 28.23 Lakhs • Present EP Ratio :- 693 : 1000 • Total 14.7% of increase of Voters. • Gender Ratio increased from 971 to 997 ……………These sizable and tangible results are due to SVEEP Activities in the district.

Core Committees“the core of man’s spirit comes from new experiences “ • District Level, Constituency Level, Mandal Level Core Committees have been constituted with the involvement of officials, NGOs, Press, Literacy Agencies, NYKs,Federations of Self Help Groups, Coordinators of NSS, NCC, Scouts and guides, All India Radio • Conducting Meeting fortnightly and review the implementation of SVEEP Activities. • Allotment of Core Committee members to different villages for creating awareness
Identification of low voter turnout :“Vote is an antidote for a Despair” • After analysis of Previous Elections Vulnerability areas in the District were identified • Special Campaigns were organized at 10% low Polling booth areas to discuss with public. • Explained the value of Vote and motivate them to cast their vote at the time of elections. • Example :-
Opening of VREC’s:-“The Roots of Education are Bitter, But the Fruit is Sweet” • All BLO Offices, Grampanchayat Offices, Tehsildar, MPDO, Municipal Offices & RDO Offices are Designated as VRECs. • Boards/ Flexis have been erected near BLO Offices, Tehsildar Offices, RDO Offices. • Keeping Forms 6,7,8,8A at VRECs. • BLVs will go to Houses and Motivate the un – enrolled voters for enrollment. • The net % of increase of voters is 14.70%
Urban Apathy:-“Apathy is a Sort of Living Oblivion” • Conducting meetings with Resident Welfare Associations, Urban Self Help Groups and Motivate them for enrollment. • Conducting Meetings in all the Urban bodies in order to promote more urban voter enrollment. • For Example Mancherial is a Urban Oriented Constituency where in the voters have been increased from 193976 to 238423, a net increase of 44447 is noticed.
18+ Age group Enrollment“Youth is the Trustee of Prosperity” • Selected 3 students from each college as Campus Ambassadors. • Selected 1 Lecturer from each college as Campus Nodal Officer. • Awareness Meetings conducted and Motivated the College Students. • 18-19 Years age group enrollment is increased from 3.51% to 4.59%

Scrolls. • News items & Advertisement in Daily News Papers. • Facilitated Helpline and Send bulk SMS to all Network Mobiles. • No.of Posters Printed : 50000 • Pamphlets Printed : 9 Lakhs • Flexies Printed : 856 • Sankalpapatras : 1 Lakh • Icon Messages : 12000 • Kalajathas : 2 teams for each mandal
IMF Activities:-“Democracy is the Road to Socialism” • Arranged Democracy Tableau buses to cover all constituencies in Adilabad District. • Keeping Forms 6,7,8,8A with Tableau. • Facilitated online Registration at Tableau buses • Tehsildars arranged publicity Vehicles at Constituency Level. • Democracy Buses : 10 Vehicles • City Cable Scrolls : 10 Constituencies • Common Service Centers : 34 • All India Radio Interviews : 1 • Special Camps during Sandy days in tribal areas : 32 • State Icons : SainaNehwal, VVS Laxman • Door Stickers : 2 Lakhs
Inter Personal Communication:-“Loyalty is the Pledge of Truth to Oneself and Others” • Letters Drafted by DEO & EROs to all College Principals for conducting pledge and Motivation Classes. • Students enthusiastically Participated in Pledge and Motivation Classes and expressed their views... • No.of Pledge letters printed : 9 Lakhs • No.of Pamphlets : 9 Lakhs • SankalpaPatras : 1 Lakh • Total no.of Educational Institutions participated : 120 • Conducted pledge with 8 Lakh Card holders while distributing Essential Commodities at Each FP Shop. • Conducted Pledge with 10th Class/ intermediate Students total (100000) students participated.

Human Chains and Kalajatha :- “Fine art is Knowledge made visible” • Human chains formed at main roads in the Constituency Headquarters. • Students/ NSS & NCC Volunteers/ Public involved in this Program. • Motivated the Un-Enrolled Voters • Played Skits & Kalajathas on the roads about the value of Vote. • Rallies Conducted : 64 • Runs Conducted : 52 • Human chains : 52 • Kalajatha Teams : (2) each mandal per a day 104 kalajata folk arts were exhibited.

Booth Level Volunteers :- “Volunteers are not Paid, Not because they are Worthless, but because they are priceless” • Launched “know your BLO program”. • Appointed NSS/NCC Cadets as Booth Level Volunteers • Booth Level Volunteers conducted campaign at Door to Door level to motivate Un-enrolled Voters. • Booth Level Volunteers (NCC/NSS) extended their services at BLO Offices on special campaign days.
Call Center & Control Room“laws control the lesserman, right conduct controls the greater one” • The Complaint Monitoring Control Room & Call Centre has been established at Collectorate under the direct supervision of Joint Collector (Nodal Officer) • Three BSNL landline telephone connections with IVRS System with a Tollfree number 1800-425-1939 has been installed in the call center. • No.of Complaints received : 513 • No.of Complaints dispossed off : 513 • No.of Complaints found true : 398 • A Help line number 1950 is provided for know your PS.
Icon Messages :-“ only god can turn a mess into message,A test in to a testimonyA trial in to a triumph ,A victim in to a victory” • National Icons/ State Icon posters have been prepared and pasted at prominent places. • 12000 State Icon message Posters have been printed at each polling station in all the constituencies. • State Icon : VVS Laxman, SainaNehwal • National Icons : Abdul Kalam, MS Dhoni.
Electoral Offences :-“ the best defence is a good offence” • Electoral Offences Posters have been printed and pasted in all the gram panchayats. • Different sections like • Sec. 8, 10, 11, 123,125, 126, 127, 128, 129, 131, 132, 133, 134, 134A, 134B, 135, 135A, 135B, 135C, 136 of R.P. Act, • Sec. 3(i)(vii) of SC/ST (POA) Act., • Sec. 171 b, 171c, 171d 171e, 171f, 171g, 171h, Sec. 153a, 153b, 188, 332, 333, 353, of IPC and Sec. 7A, 8B of AP Prohibition Act and scale of punishment also have been incorporated in the posters.

Awareness Camps “ the first step towards change is awareness,The second step is acceptance” • All the Awareness Camps have been conducted between 5th April, 2014 to 30th April 2014. • Electronic Voting Machines • How to Vote • Caller tunes • Helpline numbers • Postal Ballots • EPICs • NOTA ( None of the Above) • Date & Time of Poll • Establishment of Model Polling Stations indicating the duties of polling Officers • Voter Identification Documents • Photo Voter Slips • Basic Minimum Facilities • Ethical Voting • MCMC • Unusual forms of voting like Challenged Vote, Tendered Vote, Blind and infirm voting, SPG Protective Voting, Cancel for violation of Voting Procedure and etc. • Awareness to owners of the Factories :- Every Private/ Non Government Societies shall grant a paid holiday to every employee of their society on the Date of Poll if not the owner of that Factory shall be punishable under the section 135-B of Representation of People Act, 1951 and impose penalty Rs. 500/-. • Two News Paper Advertisements have been given in all the news papers on the day of poll and day before the poll day. • Door to Door information to the voters on Polling Day • Meetings/ Work shops with the political Parties/ Candidates. • Display of Voters list physically on the walls of the Polling Stations.
Model Polling Station“ each person must live his life as model for others” • Model Polling stations have been prepared in all the Mandal Headquarters. • The following facilities have been provided in all the Model Polling stations • Enough Space for Voters for wait outside the PS • Separate waiting queues for Men and Women • Separate Entry and Exit for voters • Easy flow of voters from time they enter in to the PS and for the time the leave PS. • Webcasting facility • Water • Electricity • Ramps • Internet • Cradle • Seating arrangement of the Polling Officers. • Shadow
