Ms. Morales (6th Grade Math) • P.O.D. and Notes • Completed together EVERY class • Homework • Posted in classroom and on materlakes.org website • IXL (smartscore is the homework grade) • Smart score should be 100 (mastery of topic) • Classwork • Completed in groups, can use notes, can ask me questions • Redos (ONLY for classwork grade of D/F corrections are made and resubmitted; due on or before TEST days; take about 2 weeks to change grade in grade book) • Test/Quiz • Make sure student is prepared (STUDYING NOTES, COMPLETING HOMEWORK, COMPLETING REDOS) • Reminders • Late work will ONLY be accepted the first 9 weeks (20 points off; take about 2 weeks to change grade in grade book) • Absences are to be EXCUSED through the office in order to make up work missed (STUDENT IS RESPONSIBLE TO ASK FOR MISSED WORK) • For ALL assignments students must show work or explain in order to receive credit (name, date, and period MUST be on assignment) • Extra Credit offered: WORD WALL (explained in math contract) • Questions/Help • Students can come see me before lunch or after school any day • Students/parents can email me with questions or concerns at amorales20@dadeschools.net
