  12. Add Up the Cost Tuition, books, equipment, materials Housing - residence or off-campus Transportation – car, transit, gas, insurance, parking Food – meal plans or shopping on your own

  13. Add Up the Cost University can cost anywhere from $11,000 (for an inexpensive program while living at home) to $31,000 (for an expensive program while away from home). A good rule – count on $10,000 on average if you live at home/$22,000 on average if you live away from home

  27. When to Apply Apply by December 31, 2013 The Deadline is January 15, 2014 Have your research done before you sign in – the site will time you out, and you may not be able to get back on for a long time. ouac.on.ca

More Important Dates Check the online handbook for the TIMELINES • February 4, 2014 is the recommended last date for students to make changes to OUAC in order to be eligible for early admission.* • February 13, 2014 is when all final 1st semester marks are received by OUAC. *Note – this is not a deadline. More Important Dates Check the online handbook for the TIMELINES • April 24, 2014 is when 2nd semester mid-term marks are received by OUAC. • May 29, 2014 is the latest date by which all applicants should expect a response from a University. This will be: 1) an offer of admission; 2) a refusal of admission; or 3) a deferral pending more information ouac.on.ca

More Important Dates Check the website of the handbook for the TIMELINES • June 2, 2014 is the earliest date by which Universities can demand a response to an offer of admission. • July 8, 2014 is when all 2nd semester final marks are received by OUAC. • August 1-29, 2014 is when OUAC receives summer school grades. ouac.on.ca
