All year we have been working with various literary techniques. This final will test you on your ability to identify, define and analyze the techniques present in an excerpt from A Streetcar Named Desire. This is your chance to highlight the skills you have developed throughout the year. Purpose
On your assigned final day, you will be given a random excerpt from Streetcar. In a group of 3, you will have 15 minutes to read, annotate and analyze your excerpt. As a group, you will identify a key theme present in the excerpt. Then, each group member will be responsible for analyzing oneof the of literary techniques used in the passage (must have 3 different techniques in your group). How does each help to develop the theme? Your group will have 15 minutes (5 minutes each) to present your analysis to the class. Directions
Study all of the literary techniques we have covered this year. You will be allowed to use your notes during the final, but you will have limited time to analyze, so come prepared! Review A Streetcar Named Desire and the charts you created throughout the unit. Preparation
