  2. Definition of Fairy Tales • Fairy tale means “fanciful tale”. • It is story that has been passed down from generation to generation. Usually it is passed down orally. • These stories are meant for children.

  3. Definition of Fairy Tales • Fairy tales exist in all different cultures. • A legendary deed takes place in which an act is performed by a hero. • Contemporary fairy tales are moral or ethical stories. Lessons are taught and learned.
