Celebrating 30 years of service, the Oakville Life Members Club is a dedicated group of volunteers who have supported various community projects and initiatives. From inception in 1986, the club has been actively involved in charitable endeavors, such as donating bed throws, building ramps, and supporting local organizations. With a strong history of volunteerism, the club continues to make a positive impact on the Oakville community.

A FEW EARLY COMMUNITY SERVICES • 1993-94: Support was provide for the Oakville Hospital Home Emergency Life Line (H.E.L.P.) program. • 1996:Gerry Norris & Jim Fehey built a deck and wheelchair ramp for a Bell Pensioner. John Smith and Doug Kirkwood added grab bars & safety equip. • 1997-98: 20 members provided transportation and warehouse assistance to Multiple Sclerosis Society Annual Carnation fundraising campaigns. • 1998: Elizabeth Karry received “Excellence in Pioneering” award for her many years of volunteer work with the Red Cross Blood Donor clinics, Life Care Nursing Home and the Town of Oakville Seniors Advisory Committee work. • Assistance Mississauga Salvation Army Christmas Program
