S Select the process to improve Find a process to improve – Since MRSA transmission in our facility is negligible, our starting point would be to concentrate on hand hygiene, contact isolation compliance and environmental cleaning. Previous hand hygiene monitors reveal 50-70% compliance(depends on if know they I’m watching). Have not looked at how well we do with adherence to Contact Precautions. We currently have an MDRO policy that states we will place patients in Contact Precautions if coming from a front range hospital, nursing home, or group and/or has a wound. Hand Hygiene policy in accordance with the CDC guidelines.
