DIRECTCROWN ™ TEMPORARY BRIDGE TECHNIQUE. PREPARE TEETH. SELECT LARGE OR SMALL 5-UNIT BRIDGE SHELL. CUT TO LENGTH. Trim buccal/lingual walls until bridge fits passively over prep area. MIX RESIN AND LINE SHELL. Place span over prepared area and have patient bite to centric occlusion.

  1. DIRECTCROWN™ TEMPORARY BRIDGE TECHNIQUE

  2. PREPARE TEETH

  3. SELECT LARGE OR SMALL 5-UNIT BRIDGE SHELL

  4. CUT TO LENGTH

  5. Trim buccal/lingual walls until bridge fits passively over prep area

  6. MIX RESIN AND LINE SHELL

  7. Place span over prepared area and have patient bite to centric occlusion • Resin will flow to form pontic, margins and contacts

  8. Wait 30 seconds and have patient open. Use finger pressure to mold resin to buccal and lingual flange areas • Remember to lift bridge span off and on several times to prevent lock on • Repeat until resin is hard • Adjust occlusion while final cure takes place

  9. MARK MARGINS AND CONTACTS FOR TRIMMING

  10. FINISH BRIDGE WITH ACRYLIC BUR, DISC AND RUBBER WHEEL

  11. FINISHED BRIDGE

  12. CEMENT WITH CONVENTIONAL TEMPORARY CEMENT OR PERMANENT CEMENT FOR PROVISIONAL BRIDGE
