Clients cannot refuse the presence of an internal witness auditor (mentor audits)
At least one member of the original assessment team (registration or recertification) must be part of subsequent surveillance audits.
After three years, auditors must rotate out
Consultants cannot participate in audits
Decision to certify must occur within 120 days of the registration or recertification audit and no later than one day before expiration date.
Not all sites automatically suspended in corporate schemes. Only to the affected site (s).
5. Transferring TS Certificates Cannot transfer more than once w/in three years
Any existing nonconformities shall be 100% resolved (used to require zero open nonconformities)
You must provide a copy of last audit report & all findings to new certification body
Cannot be in OEM special status (e.g. CS2) or have a suspended, cancelled, or withdrawn certificate.
Transfers can only be completed after an audit, 100% resolution of nonconformities and a decision to certify made prior to the next scheduled surveillance or certificate expiration.
6. Transferring TS Certificates DO NOT cancel contract with existing certification body prior to completion of all transfer activities.
New certification body issues a certificate and a new 3-year audit and certificate cycle begins.
