  7. Apple I • Apple I的內置終端電路相當特殊。用戶只需要一組電腦鍵盤及一台不貴的螢幕。當時其他電腦如Altair 8800通常設計以前置切換開關調整並以燈光(通常是紅色LED)輸出，若要連接螢幕或電傳打字機則需擴充硬體。這使得Apple I在當時成為創新機種。至1977年4月其價格降至475美元。它一直被販售至1977年8月，儘管Apple 11在同年4月首次展示並於6月開始販售。蘋果公司於1977年10月將Apple 1從價目表上移除，象徵其正式終結。
