Parts of Speech Review • Noun – a person, place, thing, or idea • Pronoun – replaces a noun • Verb – shows action or existence • Adjective – modifies a noun or a pronoun • Adverb – modifies a verb, adjective, or adverb • Preposition – shows relationships • Conjunction – connects words, phrases, or clauses • Interjection – shows emotion or pause
Puzzle Rules Objective: Be the first team to sit in the correct order. • All teams members have to sit at the same time once the puzzle is solved. • Once you sit, you can’t swap cards or switch places unless the entire team stands up again. • All teams must finish every puzzle. • Parts of speech must defend themselves.
