HUMAN RESOURCES Responsibilities: • Write job descriptions • Keeping employee files • Training employees • Employee handbook Initial tasks: • Review www.entrepreneur.com for free human resource files • Create labels for each student to store personnel files • Create personnel change notice form • Begin adapting the employee handbook from entrepreneur.com to suit our needs
SALES Responsibilities: • Find customer leads • Pitch product to customer • Generate sales • Provide customer service Initial tasks: • Begin lead generation & compile a sales lead contact list • Create a sales presentation powerpoint to include: • Opening • Intro to ROP • History of DECA • Products/Services Description • Customer Benefits → Pricing & General Terms → Why choose us? → Closing
FINANCE Responsibilities: • Determine department budgets • Prepare profit and loss statements • Record purchase orders, invoices, packing slips • Allocate employee commissions Initial tasks: • Set up individual accounts for each student • Set up company account to show credits & withdrawals • Create profits share plan for org chart
